Custom Sail Design

  • We measure every boats rig before her sails are designed in house

  • Each sail is designed by our highly skilled designers/sailmakers to ensure that it will suit the sailing type and desired shape profile

  • Our state of the art 3d design progrram allows us to tweak every sail we make, we then export the files to a CNC cutting table for precision cut panels

Materials

  • We use only "first" quality sailcloth sourced from Contender, Challenge, and Dimension Polyant

  • The hardware we use is from only the highest quality suppliers and will always match the sail and application

  • Appropriately sized thread is used on each sail we make

  • Tenara used on all canvas to elimminate sun damage

 

Techniques

  • Our sails are always cut along the correct direction according to the material we are using to ensure maximum strength and longevity

  • We are in constant contact with our suppliers to ensure that we are getting the same lot of sailcloth rolls in order to retain the utmost strength and stretch resistance

  • Our vast array of differnt sized sewing machines allows us to build the lighetest of spinnakers to the heaviest of tall ship sails while maintaining the integrity of the sail cloth
