Our Expedition series sails are built to the higest of standards. with oversized patches and split wieght or 2-ply panels, these sails are bulletproof.

If you plan to sail across the oceans, or cruise around the world these are the sails that will keep you safe and keep you moving.

Headsails

* Premium Quality high tech fiber woven and laminates- DP Hydranet, Contender Fibercon Pro Hybrid, or a cruising Membrane

* One row of triple-step seams in the radials and 3-4 rows in the sections seams depending on sail size

* Radial patches with head and tack extensions on the leech and foot to facilitate roller reefing

* Rope luff pad appropriately sized to assist in proper roller reefing and furling

* Sunbrella suncover sewn with Gore Tenara UV inert thread

* Reefing Stripes at 12.5% and 25% from tack along the foot

* Standard leech line with hand sewn Aluminum jam cleat at clew with backup stainless steel grommets and foot line with stainless steel grommets

Mainsails

* Premium Quality high tech fiber woven and laminates- DP Hydranet, Contender Fibercon Pro Hybrid or a cruising Membrane

* One row of triple-step seams in the radials and 3-4 rows in the sections seams DEPENDING ON SAIL SIZE

* Radial patches at all corners and reefs

* Two reefs standard with dacron connecter belts at leech

* Belts between reefs with stainless steel grommets

* Batten layout is custom designed for every Expedition Series sail to maximize performance and durability, and match mast configuration.

* Standard overhead leech line with hand sewn aluminum closed jam cleat at reefs and clew with backup stainless steel grommets and foot line with stainless steel grommets
