Evolution Sailmakers Latell & Ailsworth is an independently owned and operated business in Deltaville, VA. Founder Jerry Latell has been building sails since 1998 and ten years ago asked Justin Ailsworth to join forces with him as co-owner. They recently became a member of the Evolution Sails Group in New Zealand to access the latest technical innovations in sail design and membrane development. Together with their 10-person staff, they have decades of expertise to serve sailors and their boats—from cruising catamarans to offshore monohulls; from PHRF racing machines to the smallest daysailer. Our in-house sailmakers inspect each sail in our Deltaville loft from luff to leach to foot to guarantee all work meets our rigorous standards.
